Dear Parents and Students, in a world shaped by differences that often lead to disharmony, I believe we are called to rise above and become ambassadors of peace, love, respect and tolerance. I often pause to reflect on the kind of world we are building for our children especially when, as adults, our own biases and beliefs may unknowingly influence them.
To me, this makes the role of both family and school even more vital. Together, we have the responsibility of laying the foundation for a more inclusive, compassionate and understanding world.
At St. John the Evangelist, I remain deeply committed to nurturing these values through our morning assemblies and activities, where every child is encouraged to connect with people from all walks of life irrespective of caste, colour or creed. I truly believe that we must carry forward the legacy of our forefathers by being a light to the world. I invite each one of you to join me in shaping young minds to spread kindness, embrace diversity and build harmony. After all, I am convinced that even a simple smile and an open heart can make a world of difference.
